If I want to get back to blogging I will have to tell you why I haven’t been blogging. I took an emotional body blow; I was told that I probably won’t be teaching at my school next year. They are doing a reset of the math department. I’m not certified and they are going to limit the number of uncertified teachers. Of course as I’ve told you about the other teachers I’m the one that should be kept but the world is not always fair or rational. The principal basically gave me this speech.
That even gets his facial expression right. He actually said it was the toughest part of the job.
I have already gotten back on the horse and I’m going to a charter school job fair.
OK, I got that off my chest. Now I can start writing my usually “This view of life,” entries. My first will be on The Friday Sunset Singing Circle. I even have pictures. I’ll get to that when I have time. That won’t be until tomorrow. Tonight I’m off to see the Mets.
