Yesterday I went to the Grand Slambovian Halloween Ball. It was at Irvington Town Hall and produced by The Common Ground Community Concerts, Carter’s domain. That meant I was working the show. I usually do merch but The Slambovians provide their own merch person so my job was to help set up the Halloween decorations and do whatever else needs to be done.

Yesterday’s excitement was going to PT and then shopping at Aldi. I’m a wild one. I had an unfortunate transit encounter. Getting to and from Aldi is easy. It’s one bus and I have a choice of buses. The Bx1 is best as it stops closest to my house, that’s important when I come home […]
Between my health and my computer’s I have not been writing as often as I’d like Today’s edition will be about my computer’s well-being. The power cord had issues. First it had to be positioned just right. I tried to buy a new one on Wednesday when I was at Best Buy but they were […]
On Friday I went to an ultimate home game, No Fuss and Feathers Traveling All-Stars and Motor Kings at Rockwood Music Hall Stage 3. A band made up of four good friends, at the venue where I am often greeted by name, and an audience filled with friends.
I don’t have that much time so I’m going to blast away and write about yesterday without much thought and see how that works out. If it’s short it’s short. I have therapy on Fridays at 2:45; I usually schedule my psychiatrist appointments immediately afterward but that means I’m often rushed going to whatever my […]
Yesterday was a long day, I went from therapy and seeing my psychiatrist in Harrison all the way down to Brooklyn to see The Kennedys at Jalopy. I had a lot of time in between so I decided to go to Mile End for Poutine.
The Mets were playing the Phillies. It was a matchup of the two best pitchers in baseball, Jacob deGrom and whoever is facing deGrom. Jacob leads the major leagues with a 1.68 ERA, but his record is only 5–4
Yesterday’s adventures revolved around deliveries, one by UPS and one by FedEx. I bought a new phone; it came without a SIM card. I had to order one from Boost Mobile. Yesterday it came via UPS. It was a close thing, the delivery guy buzzed up, but I didn’t know where the intercom was to let him in. First, I had to go to the front of the apartment and wait for him to buzz again. Then I had to track it down by ear. It wasn’t easy as it was behind something. I got it just before he was going to leave. You know how large a SIM card is; it came in a box the large enough fit a honeydew. It was mainly giant bubble wrap.
