I have lots of ground to cover, I haven’t written in days. I am going to cover the ground in reverse chronological order. On Thursday Dan told me that he had tickets to see the Mediaeval Baebes. I was amazed he had even heard of them. I was amazed that I didn’t know they were […]

Last night was a first, I co-hosted John Platt’s On Your Radar. I feel terrible that it was because John had a stroke but I did enjoy the challenge. I’d love to host another show. Richard Cuccaro and I had a voice conference with John to prepare us. We divided the hosting duties between us. […]
Sorry I didn’t write yesterday. I did not get nearly enough sleep at night so slept late in the day. I didn’t get enough sleep last night either but I can’t miss two days in a row. This is why a kind and benevolent universe evolved caffeine. I hate to have to point this out […]
This is going to be tough, I have two days to write about and about half a night’s sleep. I need my second cup of coffee to start this. I’ll be right back. A cup of coffee in my belly and another in my hand; I’m ready to face the world. Blessed be Coffea arabica […]

I’m going through my morning checklist. I have not finished the only other item, wasting time, but I’m going to start blogging anyway. That might seem like a silly joke but it tells you what goes on in my head. The Sasha Papernik trio played yesterday at the New Utrecht branch of the Brooklyn Public […]
I’m well known on the group for not liking Dawes, Jackson Brown, and most other musicians with Jackson in the name, Mahalia and Bumper are two exceptions, Someone asked who else I hate.
