We Are All Us

To me, the heart of liberalism is an expansive view of “Us.” Right wing populism is about protecting Us against Them. Who is Us and who is Them varies but this idea that there is a foreign element, people that don’t share our values, that are out to get us.

Prozac Nation and the Crocodile Man

Welcome to a late-night edition of Wise Madness. The reason it’s late is part of what I’m going to write about. The other part, and the reason I’m not just waiting until tomorrow, is that today Dave Carter’s birthday.

My Only Home

Welcome to the first Falcon Ridge 2018 edition of Wise Madness. It’s been a week since I’ve written and have lots to say.
