I’m writing about My Day including major and a minor idiot stories, volunteering at WFUV, spending my first night at my new apartment, and therapy. I’m operating on not much sleep, so this might prove interesting.
Yesterday was a full day, I made preparations for moving, went to see the sensational The Sea The Sea, had a chance meeting with a friend I haven’t seen in ages, and got tsuris from the subway and a restaurant.

Yesterday I had adventures in music, photography, a friend, strangers, and sunburn. Let’s throw in food too because this is me and there’s always food.
I’m working on a new feature of Wise Madness, not a blog post but something permanent; a list musical acts that I feel have not found their full potential audience.
Clearwater but not Clear Intestines
I haven’t written since Friday, I’ve had a busy time since then, Friday Sunset Singing Circle, then both days of Clearwater, but I’m going to keep this short as I’ve also been sick.
Yesterday, I defended your freedom by looking silly. I look silly every day; but yesterday I used my silliness for good. Others were perhaps sillier, and clearly more talented than me. Before I get to that I’ll tell you my adventure as an eco-warrior. As happens to so many soldiers in wartime I did things I regret.
Yesterday’s most exciting adventure involved food and a mystery. I might have to hire an investigator. That will have to wait as it came near the end of the day and if I want Time to remain on my side I need to respect its order.
I had adventures yesterday and discovered a new favorite band that you need to know. How’s that for a lede?

There was no rush in leaving for UPS until I read an email from Maura Kennedy. She didn’t remember if I was available to sell the merch at the Bob Dylan tribute at City Winery. She couldn’t remember because we never discussed it. I said I’d love to but that meant working on a tight schedule. Jane dropped me off at the subway station on the way back.
